Pick up at your Yogyakarta hotel at 08.00 hrs by our Asia World Indonesia Representative and commence a full day of discovering the historical cultural city of Solo.

Surakarta or Solo is the second city of the Javanese cultural heartland. Although, smaller than Jogjakarta, Solo is a center of the arts and home to two Kraton (royal pal-aces), Kasunanan & Mangkunegaran. Kasunanan, is a large and fascinating complex which easily deserves a half day visit and Mangkunegaran, a more intimate complex blending European elegance with Javanese architecture and with a fascinating display of gold-plated dance ornaments, jewelry and wooden masks.

Next browse the Triwindu flea market and Kampung Laweyan the region of batik since the time of the kingdom in 1546 AD, with its exotic grandeur of art that influenced traditional Javanese architecture. In the after-noon direct to Sukuh Erotic Temple, it more resembles the architecture of the Incas
